Pressgang Mutiny

Pressgang Mutiny are a Toronto-based quartet of tall ship sailors and dynamic musicians who are dedicated to reviving and reimagining sea shanties and work songs. Since forming in 2013, they have toured extensively across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and
Europe, performing at major folk festivals and maritime events. They are known for their powerful harmonies and deep respect for tradition, blending historical material with a contemporary edge. The group has released two albums: Pressgang Mutiny (2016) and Across the Western Ocean (2020), both reissued in early 2025. Their upcoming album, Departure, is scheduled in early 2026.
