Grace & Badlove is an international neo-soul collective based in Argentina, led by singer-songwriter Gracia Portillo. Her musical journey began at a young age in her home country, El Salvador, and she moved to Argentina in 2009.
Her debut album, “Sticky Nostalgia,” was released in 2018, and “Moontalk,” her second album, in 2020. Since then, the group has focused on releasing a series of singles and performing live at various festivals in Argentina, as well as at key venues such as Niceto Club, La Tangente, and KONEX.
Grace expresses her emotions and ideologies through a musical collective composed of musicians from different nationalities, and has built a philosophy and an entire ecosystem of musical collaboration. In addition to her sincerity, which has attracted a growing audience not only in Latin America but also worldwide, Grace’s voice embodies the simplicity of the great voices of the golden age of blues, jazz, and soul.
Full of conflict and complexity, it is influenced by El Salvador, the country where she grew up. The latest single from Grace & Badlove, “Finding Pleasure,” features her Argentine friend and collaborator, Sol Feige. The song reflects Grace’s current life motto: not just to seek pleasure, but to find it in every moment.
