Steppin’ Cerca, band hailing from Chile’s fifth region and founded by Boston-native M.E., mixes hip-hop and soul with touches of jazz and funk. Originally formed as a hip-hop trio (2011), today has a renewed format with 4 seasoned musicians (drums, bass, saxophone and vocals) on stage, bringing you all the magic of classic hip-hop with live instrumentation.

Steppin’s career highlights include two studio albums, industry-quality music videos, numerous live sessions and collaborations, and tours and shows in North America, South America and Europe. The group has also shared the stage with artists such as Ana Tijoux, SEO2, Hordatoj, Banda Conmoción, Tiro de Gracia, Shamanes, Los Tetas, De Kiruza, & Delinquent Habits, amongst others.
