DJ Reitt and Shanara

Their music adapts the traditional Cuban music to electronic and house music paying tribute to Cuban music, giving rise to “Cuban Electronic Music”. They have achieved a sound that distinguishes them in the international electronic music scene called “Cuban House”.

Dj Reitt

One of the pioneers in the fusion of electronic and Cuban music and a great exponent of Latin House in the Cuban scene. He continues a tradition started by Manuel Saumell, Lecuona, Caturla, and Juan Blanco, father of electroacoustic music in Cuba. DJ Reitt has been part of the biggest electronic music festivals in Cuba and has been invited to festivals of different genres as well, confirming the quality of his music and as a DJ. Also, he created “Espacio para la Cultura Electrónica” a summer event that gathers a lot of fans of electronic music, in addition to that he teaches at the “DJs formation course” in collaboration the AHS and the “Laboratorio Nacional de Música Electroacústica” which they have more than 120 graduates and it is a referent to young people in the capital.

Shanara

Graduate of the “Escuela Nacional de Arte” specializing in electric bass in 2007, In 2012 she graduated from the “Instituto Superior de Arte” specializing in Musical Direction. Bassist and vocalist in several bands of different genres and styles which have been part of national and international events, she has been arranger and composer in a wide range of styles such as: bolero, danzón, bachata, pop, as well as house, chill out and latin giving each and every one that “Cuban” touch.
